RESEARCH INTERESTS

Aim to conduct research that is directly connected with impact of air pollution on environmental health. My interests pertain to: characterization, source apportionment of particulate matter (PM10 and PM2.5) and gaseous pollutants with major focus on carbonaceous aerosol and Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), Ozone, Nitrogen oxides (NOx) and in Delhi, India. Identification of the role of natural events like rain, dust storm and fog in changing air quality and related environmental impacts, especially human health is also another topic of my interest.
